In the Northwest Territories, courses must be delivered by an instructor with a current CFO designation. Given the territory's small population and geography, confirm current availability directly with an instructor well before you need to travel.
The territory's hunting and wildlife harvesting rules are set separately from the CFSC/CRFSC licensing requirement, including for subsistence and Indigenous harvesting rights, which are not affected by firearms safety course completion.
