How our instructor directory works

We list 515 firearms safety instructors across Canada so you can find a local CFSC or CRFSC course. This page explains where the listings come from, what we publish, and how a request reaches an instructor. To browse by region, use Provinces & territories or jump straight to the course finder.

Where the listings come from

• Listings are compiled from public provincial instructor lists and provider postings, then checked for duplicates.
• We publish only the instructor's name, city, and the courses they offer. Phone numbers, email addresses, and street addresses are never shown.
• Names and communities are normalized (capitalization and common misspellings) so listings stay easy to scan.

How a request reaches an instructor

• Open a city page and send a short request. It goes through our form — your details are not published anywhere on the site.
• We forward your request to the instructor, who follows up with you directly about dates and pricing.
• Always confirm the instructor's current CFO authorization and the total course price before you pay.

Keeping listings accurate

Provincial lists change, and instructors move or stop teaching. If a listing is out of date or you would like to be added, contact us and we will update it. We do not rank or recommend instructors — the directory is a neutral starting point, not an endorsement.
